DIY Projects – with Organza Bags with Tassels

PouchMart recently joined with members of the Waltzingmouse Stamps Design Team to create several fun projects with various bags.

The creation featured below comes from Lynn’s blog, Stamperosity. Let’s see how Lynn made up these organza bags with tassels.

Hi crafty friends. I have a special treat for you. Some of the Waltzingmouse Stamps Design team are having a blog waltz today.

The wonderfully generous folks at PouchMart, a supplier of a wide variety of presentation pouches, has supplied each participating team member with pouches to work with. Coupled with withWaltzingmouse Stamps images, we have created fun and inventive projects to show you.

My project began with my Cameo and some American Crafts cardstock. I die cut my birthday box and then introduced it to the Pic Nic Patterns set from Waltzingmouse Stamps. They were instant friends. I stamped along the bottom part of the “birthday box” and then colored the Happy Birthday words and butterfly along the top with Copic markers. It’s impossible to tell, but I went over the butterfly with my Spica Glitter pens, giving it

such a beautiful shimmer. (with technology today, you would think someone could devise a way to get good photos of “shimmer”).

My beautiful shimmery Organza pouch fit wonderfully inside the box to hold the candy inside, making this project birthday presentable for a co-worker of mine who LOVES Werther’s candies (a full bag is held in this pouch…my co-worker will be so happy!)

To finish off my project, I die cut a tag and used the same WMS set to embellish it. I love the way it turned out and she can even keep the pouch for later use as these Organdy bags hold their shape well, and are great little jewelry caddies for separating items that could get tangled in transit (did I mention my co-worker travels often?).

Thanks for popping in today. Until next time – stay crafty.
