DIY Ribbon Paperclip Bookmarks

You may have seen these cute DIY ribbon paperclip bookmarks but have you thought about making them? They’re super easy and super adorable to make and share with family and friends.

The supplies list consists of paperclips, scissors, a ruler and your favorite ribbons from Pouchmart.com.

Choose the size and colors of paperclips you’d like to use. We purchased these colorful paperclips from our local office supply store. For these small sized paperclips we cut various ribbons into 8″ strips. If you are using larger paperclips, then cut the strips of ribbon longer.

Next, we trimmed the ends of each ribbon at a slant. We chose to cut the slants on each end going in a different direction.

Make sure to face the paperclips with the open end pointing up (see picture above).

Now for the last few steps…Fold your ribbon in half and insert the loose ends through the top loop of the paperclip (just like you were threading a needle).

Take the loose ends of your ribbon and pull them through the loop.

The final product should look similar to the following picture below.

Here are a few samples of what we made from Pouchmart’s ribbons.

The final picture with the organza pouch is an idea of making these bookmarks for friends and family and giving them away on a small personal note and beautiful gift bag from Pouchmart.
